The Truth About Frankincense, offers a clear, scientifically grounded look at the industry-leading processes and products that make Young Living the world leader in essential oils.

Sadly, there are some companies that see the need to discredit others in order for them to rise. Such is the case with dōTERRA who, in the presentation about the purity and uses of Frankincense maligned Young Living as having substandard and adulterated Frankincense oil. For those interested, the link to the presentation on “Frankincense – Liquid Gold” is below.

dōTERRA Frankincense – Liquid Gold presentation

The relatively new dōTERRA company was founded by five ex Young Living employees, and there is currently a lawsuit Young Living Essential Oils vs. dōTERRA.

http://younglivinglegal.com/statement-of-young-living-essential-oils-lawsuit-case/

Those people who are interested in enjoying the highest quality essential oils are advised and invited to experience the original and true world leader of essential oils.

Faculty researchers at Srinakharinwirot University in Thailand tested the antimicrobial effects of two essential oil blends. Both preparations showed antimicrobial activity against (1) gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus ATCC6538 and (2) S. epidermidis, (3) the fungus Candida albicans ATCC10231, and (4) the gram-negative bacterium Escherichia coli ATCC25922, but not against (5) Pseudomonas auruginosa ATCC9027.

The first essential oil blend combined lavender, clary sage, and ylang ylang essential oils in a ratio of 3:4:3, which had a stronger antimicrobial effect than the second blend of petitgrain, clary sage, and jasmine oil in the same ratio.

The study1 reported that the first blend also exhibited synergistic antimicrobial effects against the tested microorganisms. Both blends were tested by GC-MS, which revealed that the major components were linalyl acetate and linalool.

The study concluded: “Our experiments showed that the differential antimicrobial effect of either blended oil preparations or single/pure essential oils may be influenced by the amount of linalool and linalyl acetate, and the number of active components in either the blended preparations or single/pure essential oils. In addition, blended oil preparations expressed synergistic antimicrobial effect by the accumulation of active components such as linalool and linalyl acetate and combining active constituents of more than one oil.”2

South African scientists at the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology at the University of the Witwatersrand earlier wrote about essential oil synergy in their 2010 study stating, “Complex interactions between numerous components of essential oils often contribute to the pharmacological effect and therapeutic outcome.”3

They tested several essential oil constituents combined in different ratios to find their inhibitory effect on the growth of bacteria and yeast using minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) microplate assay. When beta-pinene was tested against Candida albicans, it interacted antagonistically with methone but synergistically with 1,8 cineole. The researchers also noted, “The combination of either carvacrol or eugenol with an antimicrobial agent (ciprofloxacin or amphotericin B) resulted in synergistic interactions against all microorganisms tested. These favourable results further support the use of essential oil constituents as adjuvants in the development of a new generation of phytopharmaceuticals that can be used in combination with synthetic drugs against drug-resistant microorganisms.”4

The complexity of essential oils most often overpowers drug-resistant microorganisms, even strengthening the synthetic drugs that are defeated by these powerful microorganisms.

It is epidemic with a worldwide obsession:

‘Let’s fix what is wrong and bully people to fit into a success model … never mind about their strengths … what are they anyway??’

In the business world, managers tend to spend most of their time either zeroing in on the mistakes of their team members, or firing them, instead of developing people’s strengths.

Parents and teachers focus on students’ lowest grades rather than on their highest.

Almost all of a country’s social work is focused on problems instead of helping people become self-sufficient.

Why do we continue to focus all our energies on fixing weaknesses while ignoring strengths? Why do we continue to work at some activities without getting better at them?

Because it’s a faulty reasoning, which is responsible for many myths in our society: Fixing weaknesses will make everything all right.

The popular notion is that if you fix a weakness in an individual, the individual will become stronger.

Sadly, this assumption is false. Fixing weaknesses only puts a person or an organisation at normal or average at best.

What’s the solution?

Maximise Your Strengths and Manage the Weaknesses!

If you develop your strengths to the maximum, the strength becomes so great it overwhelms the weaknesses.

Instead of thinking in terms of weaknesses, the focus needs to be on identifying and developing strengths while managing the weakness.

When I talk about weaknesses, I do not mean everything you don’t do well, only what intrudes on your area of productivity or lessens your self-esteem and personal worth in your own eyes.

There are some apparent weaknesses that can be corrected with an extraordinary amount of time, energy, and money. Weaknesses can be removed but they cannot be transformed into strengths.

Let me give you an example. Assuming you are right handed. Biological and neurological sciences tell us that the brain locus of control for your right hand is on the opposite side of the brain, in this case the left hand side. If you tried to write with your left hand it would look like an awkward scribble (at least it does with me).
Now there are people who had no choice to develop their left hand due to an accident or losing of a limb. Over time they actually become really good at it, but it will never be a real strength. You can be skilled and good at something but it not necessarily a strengths.

There are people who are so trained and so skilful, excelling what they do, but deep down inside of themselves would be only too glad to stop it altogether and do something totally different, corresponding to their strengths.

So how do you manage your weaknesses, versus fixing them? Align yourself with people who celebrate as their strengths what you consider a weakness!

Or to use another example:

The Chinese have long held the Olympic gold medal in Ping-Pong. At the 1984 Olympics, when they again captured the gold, the coach of the Chinese team was asked by a reporter, “Tell us about your team’s daily training regimen.”

“We practice eight hours a day perfecting our strengths.”

“Could you be a little more specific?”

“Here is our philosophy: if you develop your strengths to the maximum, the strength becomes so great it overwhelms the weaknesses. Our winning player, you see, plays only his forehand. Even though he cannot play backhand and his competition knows he cannot play backhand, his forehand is so invincible that it cannot be beaten.”

Once you focus on your strengths and then work on maximising them, you’ll find you’re going to succeed to the point that your healthy pride and self-achievement are going to sing.

It’s really a case of trying to be smart with one’s weaknesses, meaning: it’s useful to team up with people whose strengths are your weaknesses, and whose weaknesses are your strengths. Teaming up with people who recognise this principle, rather than with people trying to get you to conform to their strengths! Easier said than done, I mean to find the right folk to team up with for life in a commited partner relationship, to get something specific done such as a project, or just have as friends to cheer you on to higher grounds. Nonetheless, the concept works.

It’s all a case of focus, celebrating and then maximising one’s strengths, and really excelling what we’re good at. Then somehow everything else falls into place.

I guess this is a lifelong job, we all have to swim upstream with this in this negative weaknesses mindset environment we live in.

When we maximise and excell in our strengths, I believe this strong statement of Jesus can be applied:

“For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. “Matthew 25:29

In other words success breeds further success …. and if we do not maximise our strengths, due to focusing on our weaknesses, then even what we have will be taken.

Again, I am not saying it’s easy. I for one, have been brought up by especially one parent whose strengths were my weaknesses, and my strengths were her weaknesses. All my growing up years, all I knew was that I was a failure, a non-starter, an non-completer, and a basket full of further negative descriptions. Only in the last 10 years did I start to understand that those traits of mine, that where forever rubbished, were indeed my strengths. Where I was described as a failure and under-achiever in the eyes of my mother, lay hidden my greatest gifts to humanity. It’s been a painful long process to shift those perceptions. Why? because subconsciously I have always been attracted to people like my mother, male or female, in order to finally receive validation from ‘her’, yet instead of it, her life branding message continued through these other people.

It takes guts to disconnect from people one has almost become addicted to, hoping that the fix of validation will finally come from them. But when you do disconnect from the expectations of other people and start to celebrate your own God given strengths, then and only then healing can start.

The beauty of network marketing is that there is a potential for you to develop into a leader who helps other people transform to be their best self and become successful that way, rather than following the outdated paradigm of cracking the whip and pushing you into a cookie cutter of what is supposedly success.

It is my desire that you discover your unique strengths, celebrate them and soar higher than you thought possible! If you are willing to work on your strengths, I will go out of my way to support your and assist you!

Self care and me-time seems such a struggle for most of us women.

Typically, we are there for others, busy giving, busy excelling, busy with all the things we have on our never ending to-do list …. it feels like a frivolous luxury to just spend time on ourselves in a nurturing and self pampering way.

This article is all about a big subject: breasts: accepting them for what they are rather than what they are not, loving them, and giving them a nurturing self massage with essential oils, which due to their therapeutic and organic pureness, not only nourish the body, but also elevate the healing electro-magnetic energy frequencies so needful for our breasts.

All the photos in this article I took of myself, of my own hands and breasts, so you know that I am practising myself what I am sharing with you!

Many women have managed to claim some time for themselves for fitness and health. I am particularly thankful for social media platforms, such as Fitocracy, promoting a healthy fitness lifestyle with a lot of comradery amongst its members.

Whilst fitness is super important, there is still one area that, especially as women, we feel is expendable: self nurturing touch, time to connect with our bodies with gratitude and feel our own delicious beauty.

It’s so very easy to feel totally dissatisfied with our bodies. What was once celebrated by painters such as Rubens, is now regarded with disdain, rejected as gross and ugly, influenced by the fashion industry.

When it comes to breasts, women’s self-confidence is often tied to the size or shape of their breasts, but not every woman ends up with the kind of breasts that she is happy with, or match up to the ones one sees in magazines.

Breasts, in our society are often looked at as titillation for other people, but that’s undermining the power of the breast for your own wellness.

Now, it is true that breasts are lovely for our partners, but most of the time, our breasts are for us. So I’d like you to shift your perception, if you can, from your breasts being what other people need or want, to your breasts really being there for you. Your breasts are there for self nurture.

They are right next to the heart chakra. It’s the part of our body which holds that huge capacity of self love, and self nurture.

We have a lot of crazy societal messages about breasts, exactly how they are supposed to look or not look. Then there is all that fear around breast cancer. Although that is a real concern, when we think about our breasts, many of us have negative emotions, negative messages. We really want to cultivate a healthy flow of energy, and a healthy flow of lymphatics to our breasts, so that we don’t end up with breast issues. We want to cultivate love and appreciation as a symbolic place of self nurture, rather than negative thoughts.

Love your breasts, be grateful for what you have. A lot of women who have bigger breasts wish they were smaller, and a lot of women with smaller breasts wish they were bigger, …. and then there are the older women who’s breasts go southwards and need the help of some lift … I know mine do!

Breasts are especially dependent on blood and lymphatic circulation, and have no inherent aids, like muscle or joint activity to promote drainage. This is compounded by the common practice of wearing tight breast clothing that prevents the natural ‘bounce’ of the tissues.

Wearing bras restricts the flow of lymph fluids, especially underwired bras. Chronic conditions of congestion and inadequate tissue clearance are associated with pain and degenerative tissue change. So, massaging your breasts on a daily basis gets the lymph to flow.

Our heart pumps blood, however lymph only flows from movement and massage, it does not move simply on its own. So, if you wear a bra all the time, especially underwired bras, that lymph flow is blocked, and toxins stay in the breast tissues.

As the title of this article and the very first picture on the top left hand indicate, I used essential oils in my own self massage. I am very particular as to what oils I use for myself, my family and friends and for my clients. I only use the medicinally purest oils. For more about me and my favourite oils, click here.

As you can see, I used Clary Sage, Frankincense, Joy, and the smallest amount of Peppermint (one drop). These oils are so potent and concentrated, you need to use fewer drops to get the same effect as with other essential oils.

‘Joy’ is a luxurious blend that contains bergamot, ylang ylang, geranium, rosewood, lemon, mandarin, jasmine, Roman chamomile, palmarosa, and rose.

All of these oils have been tested from a therapeutic point, as well as electromagnetic frequencies to enhance well being, healing, and balance the heart chakra in this combination. You can use other oils as well, I happen to choose these.

Rose, geranium, chamomile, ylang-ylang and jasmine are balancing oils which help with self-love and loving others. They are also good for your adrenal and thymus glands.

Frankincense and peppermint help support the respiratory system when feeling breathless or tight chested. Frankincense has so many unbelievable benefits, too many to list here.

Clary Sage is widely used to uplift and fight depression. It is a nerve tonic and is wonderfully relaxing. It also benefits the pituitary gland.

Let’s focus for a moment on the Heart Chakra. It’s the place on your chest between your breasts, but actually it expands all around you and inside of you at location.

The energy of the Heart Chakra influences your experience with the following:

Heart, Compassion
Love, Touch, Devotion
Your emotional response to life
Self-Acceptance
Masculine/Feminine of the Self
Forgiveness

Place your hand on your heart chakra, or gently draw circles with your hand on your skin between your breasts and repeat :
I am loved because I was born
I am safe feeling my feelings
I am a balanced and vibrant fourth chakra
I am safe to give and receive love
I am loving myself and sharing that love
I am forgiving
I am forgiving
I am forgiving
I am loved and supported by God

Now let’s go and do the breast massage

But first, I want you to think of your breasts, not as they appear on the outside, but as they feel from the inside. How do your breasts feel to you? How do you experience your breasts?

When we massage our breasts, we increase the flow of energy to our breasts, as well as to our entire glandular system.

The breasts nourish the pineal gland, the pitutory gland, which is the master hormone, the thyroid gland, the thymus gland, which is responsible for our immune system, and the adrenal glands, and our ovaries.

When we massage our breasts, and in particularly our nipples, all of those glands are stimulated, and brought in alignment.

When stimulated, hormones such as oxytocin and prolactin are secreted. They cause uterus contractions, they also cause us to crave touch and affections, and make us feel relaxed.

Mix your essential oils into a base oil, such as grape seed oil or almond oil and gently hold your breasts. Notice any negative feelings you may have about your breasts, any judgements, any sensation that feels like a blockage in your breasts. Now take a deep breath into your belly, and then with a slow out-breath release all these negative feelings by imagining that they drain out through your body down your legs into the earth. Do this as many times as you need, until you feel that your breasts are clear.

Now imagine some beautiful warm soothing and healing sunlight surrounding you, cradling and caressing your breasts, as it were. As you do that, and gently hold your breasts, smile like you would holding a little child or a new born baby, or a puppy with that sweet gentle accepting energy.

When you massage your breasts, keep smiling down at them. Then use either the palm of your hands or take three fingers – whatever is more comfortable – about an inch and a half away from the nipple, move up the sternum and around, and circulate the energy. Make at least nine circles, and then reverse the circles.

Keep smiling and keep that loving intent. Now continue circling more on the outside of your breasts, varying your strokes from feather like caressing to stronger pressure touches. If you feel comfortable move your finger tips in closer to your nipples and circle on and around your nipples as well. This will will cause more glandular stimulation. I will also cause more sexual energy, which is quite delicious.

Your intention is so very important in this! Keep sending love to your breasts.

Whatever you hold in your heart will affect your breasts
