Believe in Your True Potential. Fan the Fire of What is Possible in Your Life

IW - Light at the end of the tunnel_320

A group of us girls had met in one of the empty classrooms. We were in our late teens, about to graduate to go to university. The era was the early 70’s. We sat on our desks, not at our desks. We were part of a new generation of women interested in politics, world views, and wanting our voices to be heard.

We were radical. I edited the school magazine. We were young women who were not going to follow the footsteps of our mothers and their mothers. We demanded a different society, we were part of a revolution….

Years later, we had gone to university … and many of us had given up on our inspiring ideas. What happened?

Life happened. Many of us had become survivors … then came marriages, kids, … I was still a trail blazer at heart, but bit by bit the radical light dimmed with me, too.

Of course, there were good moments, happy moments, but what happened to the fire, the passion?

Many of you who are reading this, can relate.

You have your own stories … We experienced the sexual revolution, but seldom experienced real pleasure ourselves, we still had our training to look after other people’s pleasure first.

Financially, some of us thrived, and many of us just survived. Economic situations shifted and changed. Many of us took jobs just to make living. Often dead-end jobs, and we were glad to have the weekend to look forward to.

Many of us are now in the 50’s and 60’s … many of us still working in dead-end jobs… Many of us live the back-up plan to survive. But as one of my mentors, Elizabeth Purvis puts it:

“The question that you have to hold out in front of you on a daily basis is this:
Do you want the life you Desire,
or do you want the backup plan?”

Many of us, like myself, have been working on ourselves with untold hours in the personal development field. There has been a dream resurfacing in many of us heart-centered spiritual women.

We dream of becoming entrepreneurs to make a difference in our world. It is a known fact that when women create wealth, they somehow invest it differently.

We want our children to have better and healthier lives, we want other women, especially in poorer areas to get an opportunity to learn about business and creating abundance.

Oh yes, the fire is still there. It may have been squashed, but was never extinguished. There is a new era arising, a new wind blowing. We are the eagles that can stretch our wings again, face towards the wind.

YL young-living-believe-essential-oil-blendLet us dust off the disappointments, the stories of whatever happened. Let us write new stories and believe again.

It’s never too late to be what we were originally meant to have been.

It’s never too late to dust off our dreams. Sure, we have matured since our early days, sure we have learnt so much, but let us not sink into crusty cynicism. Let us fan our fire of passion and desire with new hope and believe!

One of my favourite essential oil blends is “Believe”, which is a calming blend that opens our inner awareness to our potential so we can live a more fulfilling life. It is also an oil of choice when we are filled with doubt. It helps to create the environment that allows us to feel confident that we can do it!

Believe includes the benefits of Idaho blue spruce and Ecuadorian ylang ylang (one of the Exotic Oils). With the addition of these two oils and with the current Idaho balsam fir found in the blend, Believe was created to help us overcome occasional feelings of despair and move to a higher level of awareness, Believe also contains frankincense essential oil to encourage feelings of strength and faith. With the other complementary oils that round out this blend — bergamot oil, coriander, and geranium — this combination of oils may help assist us as we look to unlock our true, unlimited potential.*

Geranium Essential Oil (Pelargonium graveolens) helps you relax and supportive to healthy skin! Used traditionally to support the circulatory and nervous systems, a great deal of its strength lies in its ability to revitalize body tissues.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (Cananga odorata) has a long history in skin and hair care products, particularly in Asia, where it is used to support luxuriant hair. It also restores confidence and equilibrium.

Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus bergamia) The essential oil has a calming aroma which relaxes the mind and body. It has a long history of use for oily and troubled skin.

Coriander Essential Oil (Coriandrum sativum) has been used since Ancient Egypt. It may support healthy digestive and circulatory system functions and has been studied for the support it may offer to a healthy pancreas.

Idaho Blue Spruce Essential Oil (Picea Pungens) has a high content of alpha-pinene. Add it to your bath to relax both mind and body. This oil is harvested from Young Livings Highland Flats Tree Farm in Naples, Idaho and distilled at their St. Maries Farm. It has a high percentage of d-limonene as well.

You may use Believe in many ways. Whether you diffuse a little before a big date or rub some behind your ears to get you through a job interview, Believe will get you in the right frame of mind to believe in yourself.

Warmly,
